Email Production System
Build production into the design.
I redesigned the email production workflow around consistent file organization, production standards, and clearer documentation. Working with engineering, I translated the team’s production needs into requirements for automation.

The challenge: repeated preparation
As production volume grew, asset preparation relied on repetitive exports, multiple handoffs, and inconsistent file structures. The opportunity was to make production readiness part of the design process rather than a separate cleanup stage.
Design for implementation from the start
A standardized file architecture keeps the same creative organized throughout production. The example below shows how consistent preparation connects design to implementation without changing the creative idea.
Make the inputs consistent
File organization, naming conventions, export preparation, and documentation define a predictable handoff. These standards give design and engineering a common structure to work from.
Connect standards with automation
I worked with engineering to translate production needs into automation opportunities. My contribution centered on workflow definition, production standards, and collaboration across disciplines; engineering implementation was a collaborative effort.
